All the text that needed to be affixed to the panel of the monument is in place. We checked and rechecked everything we could think of, then left the panel in the capable hands of the Metal Arts Foundry crew.
The next step is creating the mold. The panel will be molded intact, but the mold will separate into three sections. Each section will contain 3 of the portraits. It will take about three weeks to make the mold. I will try to get photos throughout the process.
